About Lexi
Hi! I'm Alexis Hudspeth but most call me Lexi. I am the very blessed owner of Boxwood Bookkeeping, LLC.
I am a God-fearing, coffee loving, Harry Potter obsessed, Netflix binge-watching wife and mother of two. My husband and I are both from the area and have since settled our family of four (well more if we include our dogs and chickens) roughly 15 miles from my childhood home in good ol' Apple Springs, TX! My husband always cracks jokes at my love for budgeting and numbers. He will tell anyone who will listen that I have a spreadsheet for any and everything.
I've been in the accounting industry since late 2014 when I began working in a local accounting firm. I was blessed with the opportunity to learn so much from local professionals who truly valued my education and invested in helping me grow my knowledge base. I have experience including but not limited to preparation of taxes for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and non-profits; full charge bookkeeping, payroll processing and reporting, budgeting, process and procedure implementation, and non-profit and governmental accounting.
My goal for Boxwood Bookkeeping, LLC is to help people achieve their dreams of owning a business with full support, encouragement, advisement, and assistance where they need it most.

Hi, I’m Jody Whitworth! This summer, my husband and I welcomed our first baby, and we're cherishing every moment of parenthood. We love exploring our home, the North Houston area, taking long drives, dreaming about our future, and indulging in a treat or two along the way—who can resist a stop at Dairy Queen?
In addition to our family adventures, I’m passionate about leading a wonderful group of young people at our church, where we continuously learn and grow together.
My journey into bookkeeping began at a fantastic accounting firm, which sparked my interest and led me to earn a Bookkeeping Certification from Lonestar Community College. I’ve enjoyed applying my knowledge at Boxwood Bookkeeping, where I have the pleasure of working alongside Lexi and supporting our valued clients. I’m dedicated to helping businesses manage their finances with honesty and integrity!
