Meet the Team
Behind every clean set of books is a team that cares.
Here's who's in your corner at Boxwood Bookkeeping.

Chaos Coordinator
Lexi Hudspeth
Hi! I’m Lexi - founder of Boxwood Bookkeeping, wife to Justin (AKA Chief Problem Solver), mom of two little girls, and dog mom to four wild pups.
I founded Boxwood Bookkeeping to be more than a bookkeeping firm, I wanted to build a relationship-driven practice that gives business owners clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.
I hold a bachelor's degree in accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University, and spent five years in public accounting before serving as an accounting manager for a quasi-governmental entity.
Today, I work with small businesses across a range of industries and the country, providing bookkeeping cleanup, reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax preparation services. I've worked hard to create a place the welcomes all of the questions - including ones business owners may feel "crazy" for not knowing.
I'm resourceful and always learning, and I'm committed to making sure every client feels supported, every step of the way; whether that's in office or through our virtual services.
My faith shapes how I lead and serve, and as Boxwood grows, I'm building a team rooted in integrity, excellence, and genuine care.
Outside the office, you'll find me spending time with my husband and two daughters, at church, playing golf, enjoying a craft coffee or a Bloom energy and trying my best to take in the small moments. Life gets crazy, but the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Financial Alchemist (Bookkeeper)
Ceciley Pittman
Hello everyone!
I am Ceciley Pittman, and I recently earned my Masters of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, shortly before joining the Boxwood Bookkeeping team.
I was born in Deep East Texas and raised on the border in Brownsville, where I had the privilege of meeting people from many different walks of life. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for culture and diversity, and I am grateful to be bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Numbers have always been something I’ve loved, and I find a lot of joy in problem solving and bringing clarity to all things accounting. I work hard to be transparent and reliable, both in my work and in my relationships. My faith is at the center of who I am. I strive to love like Jesus and trust His way in every season of life, and I carry that same care and dedication into my work.
I am a new mom and absolutely love this adventure of raising my little boy with my wonderful partner, Alex. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, fishing, and gardening. I find that these hobbies keep me grounded and connected to what I love most: family, faith, and simple joys.
I chose to be a part of the Boxwood Bookkeeping team because we share the same value of being personable yet effective. From the moment I met Lexi and Aubrey, I felt a sense of belonging. I am blessed to be able to serve alongside such an amazing team and to assist our clients with honesty, compassion, and excellence.

Chief Problem Solver
Justin Hudspeth
Every great team has a behind-the-scenes hero—and at Boxwood Bookkeeping, that’s Justin.
He’s not just the guy with the toolbox—he’s also the husband of Lexi, Boxwood’s founder and the heart behind the brand. From the very beginning, Justin has been a constant source of support and encouragement—helping foster the idea of Boxwood Bookkeeping long before it ever had a name, a logo, or its own little corner of the wizarding world.
As our resident Maintenance Man, Justin keeps the gears turning behind the scenes. From assembling desks and running office errands to fixing anything that breaks (and occasionally performing what feels like a minor spell or two to make it all work), we lovingly call him our “get-it-done guy.”
With a big heart, a steady hand, and the kind of loyalty that would put even Hagrid to shame, Justin brings the kind of support every small business dreams of. His quiet consistency keeps our days running smoothly—and his presence reminds us that behind every bit of financial magic is a whole lot of Muggle-powered elbow grease.
We may run on spreadsheets and systems—but we also run on Justin.

Crisis Calmer
Aftyn Jones
Hi, I’m Aftyn Jones! I’m 24 years old and have lived in Deep East Texas my entire life. I have an Associate’s degree in Art of Teaching and am currently working toward completing my Bachelor’s degree. I’ve always loved the community here in Deep East Texas and feel grateful to call it home.
Faith is a big part of who I am. My relationship with Jesus Christ shapes the way I approach both my personal and professional life. I believe that through Him, anything is possible, and I strive each day to be a light to others and reflect His love in everything I do.
I’m proud to be part of the Boxwood Bookkeeping team as an assistant. I enjoy being able to support the team, help our clients, and contribute to the work we do for small businesses in our community. I appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow in this role while being part of a company that values organization, service, and building meaningful relationships with clients.
Outside of work and school, family is a big part of my life. I’ve been married to my husband for three years, and he is a firefighter. We also have a dog who is very much our child for now! In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and making memories with my family. I love getting to experience new places, meet new people, and create lasting memories along the way.
I’m excited to continue growing both personally and professionally, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a great community. I look forward to getting to know and working alongside everyone!
