Our Story
Founded by Alexis “Lexi” Hudspeth, Boxwood Bookkeeping was built from a desire to create something meaningful — both for her family and for the businesses she serves throughout Angelina and Trinity County, Texas.

After years of experience in public, nonprofit, and governmental accounting, Lexi recognized a common challenge among business owners: balancing the demands of business growth with the priorities of everyday life. She also understood firsthand the importance of building a career and business that supported both professional purpose and family.

With the support of her husband and family, Boxwood Bookkeeping was established shortly before welcoming their second daughter — rooted in the belief that financial clarity and strong support systems make a lasting difference for both businesses and families.
